Konjac blooming now

After a 20-year break, I grew an A. Konjac this year. It got too much sun and burned (I had no shady area to move it to). I thought it was a goner and moved the pot behind others. As I was cleaning up for winter three weeks ago, I noticed a flower stalk! It's blooming now. What will this do to the regular cycle?
