Well, Hardie fiber cement siding would certainly solve the termite problem. If you want the same look you have now, just do it with the Hardie products. Great stuff.

But if that's southern/western exposure in a warm climate (I see palm trees), I'd lighten up on the wall color to minimize heat gain.
