Wowsa - Here's the solution - your front yard needs a landscape architect . . and you will replace the stairs and railing to the front door . . the brick "planter beds" need to be reworked into terraced larger scale landings .. the new landing at the door wants to wrap that corner . . stairs to that corner need to be more like 90 degrees / pie wedge back to the house with stairs / planting planned between . .and a newer, horizontal / wire cable railing . . contemporary or horizontal black iron railing . . maybe 90 degrees off the front plane of the house . .the designer can integrate some contemporary lighting into the stairs / maybe do a floating edge, or hang contemporary down lights up the stair path at regular intervals to create a night time sequence that is modern and graphic on that wall. . .

If you can, paint your siding a deep warm / non-blue charcoal so the brick is not so high contrast . . the white instead pops off. Spend your money on the landscape and new stair entry not the house . . .find a landscape architect who has some contemporary houses in his portfolio. . . . then, just save enough out of the budget to do a glossy painted contemporary entry door. A screaming dijon gold / yellow would be a great color against this brick with white trim and neutral siding.

if the entry experience is lined out . . it won't matter that you can't see a door . . they might do a brick portal / screen wall . .

You might even request an entry court surrounded by a low wall .. with a grid of succulents or other architectural plantings . . . could be done in charcoal colored concrete and brick risers to tie back to the house . .

HI snap, if there is space enough between the front brick exterior wall and the oak tree you might consider moving the front door to the front brick side of the house. If there isn't enough space or doesn't look too appealing because the oak tree in in your view path, consider redesigning the front entry by adding a shed roof, lowering the front door down to a lower level and adding a front foyer of approx. 6'x8'.
