Trying to identify the possible manufacturer and value of this buffet

Antique Arts and Crafts Sideboard or Buffet · More Info

We recently acquired this sideboard. It has glass drawer pulls, stained glass (actually zinc and not lead which makes me think it is from the 1940s). It does appear to have had legs at one time. I would like to know if any one can provide more information. There are no markings. We absolutely love it. The previous owners said it was in their condo unit (an old converted Chicago apartment building) when they bought it.

One other question... is it ridiculous to think that this may be a genuine Stickly piece of furniture? How many manufacturers could there possibly have been?

It is not a Stickley—there were many manufacturers. To get an idea of value, you could take a photo around to some of the antique shops on Belmont Ave. The fact that it had legs which were removed will reduce it's value significantly. I urge you to enjoy it and not worry about it's monetary value.
