So do you treat it pretty much as one would a fig?

Yes pretty much the same,including fertilizer but need more frequent deep watering just like the Jabo's. Jabo's i feed citrus fertilizer and Espoma Holly tone combo.Atemoya need a more ph7 just like figs, Compost,iron,potash.

I forgot to mention,Figs are now in the garage for the winter,btw just today.

ATEMOYA are in my shop,Temps are about 72 degrees all winter under lights.

In the spring i cut-off all leaves and prune heavenly Temps will be in the twenties for 2 nights this week-end.

Glancing at this post i notice a big mistake, it should have read ATEMOYA instead of Jabo's.
