So glad that they reached you in good shape, Stuart.

I would plant at the same level as it was at Dino's in a mix that you know works well for you at your home. Add a bit more coarse material. I soak mine in a formula that has Vit B in it. I add more Coconut Husks chunks to my mix with new bareroot plants. Once they have put on really good feeder roots or on next potting up, I go with my usual mix.

Stuart, we don't have vit B here either, we use humans usage vit B, it has b1, b6 and b12, I put in blender 1 pill with 2 liters of water, and works very well, I use it on my Adeniums (seedlings included) and orchids. I hope it helps..

Nice roots on that Dino plant Stuart, no sign of any rot whatsoever, all healthy and clean material. Looks like somebody is going to be busy this week!

It's good that you have the climate in which to plant the seeds, had our first snow today when a sudden cold icy storm blew in, trees and branches down, power cables too, electric went off at the garden/centre nursery where I'm working so came home....everywhere is such a mess.

Yes thanks Stuart, all is ok here, just have to spend my day off clearing the debris away, nothing major though. Dodged the fallen branches and floods en route home by using slightly bigger roads, as its usually it's the single track ones we use. Heard on the news that a band of tornadoes had swept through so that must have been it! It was quite frightening to say the least.

The seeds are planted I see, please keep us informed of their progress, good luck:-)

I have killed a lot of the seeds from Dino with over watering. Now i have only a few left. the last one i rescued is a golden leaves peth phunlan.

Here is Dino reaction " Wow, lucky you!! It have golden leaves. (This seeds are from grandma of Lucky gold. )"

Now i have left: 7 x peth phunlan, 8 x racha phunlan x peth phunlan, 3 x Dino king and only 1 x rcn from Dino.

Stuart, a tip for you as you said above you tend to overwater your seedlings.....so, when you get the urge to go and water them, throw half the water away, then hopefully they won't get too much!

Seriously, I hope they do well for you. You must have quite a varied and expanding collection going on? The golden leaved one is a particular treasure, I assume the cover is to keep small furry animals from munching on it? As for that monster of a mother plant, it's amazing!

That's a very good tip Gill. Yes i do have a big varied collection but i also lost many seedlings due to overwater, spider mites and experimenting with differents mix. Yes the cover is to protect the golden baby grom birds, grasshoppers etcc... The mother plant cost 50.000 THB = $1203 .

I have been gone awhile so I am just now reading your post. I love the first pic. The roots should be wonderful when you lift the tree later on. I do like odd twisty roots.
