Not familiar with Fresh Pet...would that be kibble or canned? Canned has more water obviously, and maybe kitty gets hungry fast if the food digests quickly.

Look at the recommended feeding amounts on the package or even go to their website to see if kitty is eating more than is appropriate for his size. Or even email them your question.

I used to feed the Freshpet logs to my dog and like your cat, he was never as satisfied as when he was on other diets. He loved it, but I noticed he tended to have more issues with his sensitive stomach so I finally switched brands.

He's now on Simply Nourish (Duck & Lamb flavors) and he's doing great on it, as long as he still gets his daily pepcid!
