If it has just been refrigerated, maybe. If it has been frozen, the seeds will probably not germinate.

You can try wrapping the seeds in a wet paper towel and then putting the paper towel inside a sealed plastic bag. Place somewhere that is not going to be cold. Wait about 10-14 days to see if anything sprouts.

Breadfruit is related to the same family as jackfruit and durian, although more distantly. Breadfruit is pretty tropical, but with a little bit of difficulty it might be able to grow outside in San Diego near the coast. Where you live it's probably not going to be able to ripen.

Well,I was kidding about its outdoor growing. But,since it might make a interesting indoor- outdoor plant for awhile,I bit on buying the fruit. I had a coconut survive two years of in and out..then a very cloudy winter month offed it indoors. The Breadfruit is just for fun.
