Sitting Room in Master

I'm thinking of putting a chandelier between the 2 chair? Any thoughts on how big it should be and how low to hang it or if i should do a lamp instead? Also, what size rug and shape? I need help making it feel done. placement of the chairs... Should they be in front of the outer 2 windows?

Chairs should be closer together and a shared ottoman might be nice. A nice fluffy rug to step out onto would be great. Don't favor chandelier in this spot. Better in center of room. Nice table and lamp between the chairs. The two chairs are lovely, but might want a little lumbar pillow with some color or texture or pattern to provide some interest. Is this bedroom itself, or separate space? Looks like little bay area off actual bedroom, not separate sitting room? More photos of adjoining spaces would help.

If you do decide on a chandelier, you should "ground" it with a table beneath it between the two chairs.

I have a tufted round ottoman on its way for in front of the chairs. Here are a few more pictures of the master. I have 2 fluffy rugs in other places in the house so not sure if I want another. How about hide? Not sure what size to go for?

Room is large although these panoramic photos distort. No hide rug here. This room needs more formal rug I believe. Maybe a tone on tone that is cut wool?

No chandelier, it will compete with the commanding light fixture in the room. A similar lamp as those at the bedside, in a floor version.

Behind one of your chairs, oriented so it hangs between the chair and the new ottoman. Have it closer to whichever is your preferred chair.

Save the money you would have spent on the chandelier and get bigger bedside tables. Yours are far too small for the bed and bedroom.

Use a crystal table lamp in this situation with a table. A table will be useful for a drink or books.

I agree, no chandelier. You need some comfy chairs, a rug, table and lamps.
