Question about kitchen cabinets:

After opinions on color I'm still not sure about choice of stain. My question is about price. I originally paid for a big box store to do measurements and had an appt with a designer in the store. Not at all satisfied.

Next stop was a kitchen design store. I worked with a CKD and no up front fee. my kitchen is small about 15 feet or so of countertop. He suggested removing the peninsula and changing to an island. I will have both base and wall cabinets. The cabinets will be the Bridgewood Advantage line. All plywood, soft close, full extension undermount etc. Top quality. No MDF.

Total price which will include rip out, install, plumbing and sink install, dishwasher install and hookup as well as new grade one granite countertop
is right at 11K.

I really don't want to shop around and I feel good with this company.

i see quotes per linear foot for pricing and if I use that formula it looks like I'm paying too much. However the linear foot formula did not specify cabinet quality!

Does this price sound fair to you who are experienced?

Is it normal in the cabinet arena to haggle or is the price the price.

As I said I do feel good with this company and that is worth alot but if I can save a couple of thousand dollars and not seem cheap i'm all for it as I need new appliances.

i want to do this right the first and hopefully last time.[
