I have a 46" Samsung LCD TV that worked great - until it didn't. TV used to click once and turn on. At some point this summer the TV began clicking a few times before turning on... that ~15 seconds has now grown to over 15 minutes before it will turn on. I Googled the problem and learned that there was a class action law suit settled by Samsung reimbursing owners for the repair cost but when I called Samsung's service line they told the that the reimbursement period had expired. Of course they pointed out that they admitted no wrongdoing or fault but and would be all too happy to have me bring the set into one of their repair centers conveniently located about 75 miles away - and pay full price for the repair.

Has anyone else dealt with this and do you have an idea of how much it would cost to have a Best Buy take care of it? The problem was so widespread that there are YouTube videos explaining how to fix it but I'm a little afraid of using a soldering gun on the TV.
