Master Bath: 3 or 4 sconces

My vanity in my master bath was designed in such a way that there is no way to arrange two sinks and three sconces symmetrically. So, do I go with three sconces and no symmetry or do I go with 4 sconces. The room has can lighting so overall brightness is not an issue. Thanks in advance.

I think it may depend, are there two mirror or just one big one. If you are doing two mirror (which I would do) than 4 individuals sconces would look better I think. But one big mirror than I would do 2 sconces on rather side than the double in the middle.

I like 3 lights. It creates a focal point at the center of the vanity area and looks more "designed" than the standard 2 sconces flanking a mirror. Plus it gives the oportunity to highlight a small piece if artwork or a budvase.

I went with a single fixture that had two light bulbs and put in the center of the counter top between the two sinks. I actually tried the 3 light layout but the light close to the wall looked silly.
