Living Room Rug

Living room has modern tiled fireplace with gray undertones, gray walls, dark wood floors. Off-white Pottery barn couch with chez lounge and gray wood contemporary coffee table. Can't decide if white rug would clash with couch or gray rug would clash with coffee table. Help!

Sounds like you can't find a rug to match the couch color, or one that would match the coffee table color. I'm not surprised; white like black comes in ever so many variations. How about looking for a rug that includes various shades from white to black? The variations become a focal point for the room.
