I think it is a good idea. If you keep your leaf pots on a tray with a dome - and put this tray on a heating mat - you will create a microclimate for them to grow faster. The second issue is the light. If you use a fluorescent light - no problem, but if they are on a natural light - winter light time is shorter so you can think about supplementing it in some way.

Thank you, I have my heat mat set up with some of my leaf pots. Now I will just have to wait and see if it makes a difference.

I use a heat mat-- timer turns it on at night & off in the morning before the lights turn on.
