Diameter of the wooden base, the 5 wooden base parts. Inches across?

I have a small desk area & knee or keyhole part. It's 24" wide. Will that wooden base slide into that area? I'd like to get it in as far as where the little "arms" start on the chair part at least. Just wondering

You will be able to get one or two of the legs in but the seat is 23" so it will be a close fit.
