For the round toilet, top water supply, end water supply?

does the water supply enter the toilet on the top or at the back side. The pictures are not clear.

    The l pipe high tanks enter the rear of the bowl. Z pipe high tanks enter the top of the bowl.

    Cutting to the chase , , what I need is the toilet alone. I have a
    current installation but the toilet has been scrubbed through the
    glazing. Therefore the surfaces can't be cleaned as one might like. This
    is a rear entry fixture. Can you help?

    I think the water fills up at the top.
