If it wasn't for rust or mites I would rarely have any other problems with Plumeria. It seems they are just susceptible to those issues in my climate. An interesting note I have seen mites tear up one cultivar of Plumeria and not even touch a different cultivar practically touching leaves with it.

I have been having issues too!! The dry air and especially the artificial lights add to the the "spider mite environment " that they love....

They also like Adeniums, so they will eventually hit those as well...

Bayer 3in 1 works great on my really bad infestations and it also works as a systemic to control infestations and when the new eggs hatch. I still repeat in ten days to stop the new cycles of spider mites...

Dr Doom has a few other products that I use when I have issues.. I'll post pictures, but use these with caution if you don't have proper ventilation or if they are in rooms exposed to areas where you or your children will be. I use these bombs in the greenhouse and the spray upstairs.. No one will be around when I do spray and the animals not around and will stay downstairs when applying..

i will also make a spray that I add hot water, isopropyl alcohol, neem oil and Murphy's oil soap in a spritz. This takes care of the small issues .. Still stinks though... ;-)

Once you get them under control you can spritz with water and isoproply alcohol at a 50/50 ratio for preventive methods..

Laura, as usual, your advice is invaluable. I shall do as you suggest and spray all of them today. Strange that it hasn't affected the desert rose as well, perhaps I should spray them as well. I have rearranged my plumeria stations and will post today. Perhaps you can review and give me your thoughts. I suppose we'll get through this together.

I'm going through the same kms, one cultivar next to another seems to have no affect. I think I have had enough challenges already this winter, enough is enough.
