Even the tree can't believe we relieved it of 200 lemons; it still looks to be breaking from the weight.

Boy, that is some tree! How old is the tree? What is the normal yield for a tree of that age?

That tree produces about 400 lemons per year; which is why I have chosen it as our new Mother tree. This Spring I made 100 copies of this tree destined to be the future of Meyer lemons in Guatemala; this tree is 9 years old. Normal yield for field trees of that age would be 300+ per year.

That is a lot of lemons from such a young tree. How big is it. I have 8 non citrus fruit trees of 20 feet and not a one come close to producing that quantity/quality of fruit.

Not only is the Meyer lemon the juiciest citrus on the planet, clocking in at 70% juice by weight; it is also one of the most productive in the world. Some say it is almost not possible the biomass that a Meyer produces per unit of area.

My Arkansas Blacking Apple tree produces an average of 6 apples per year from its 20 foot tall 12 diameter tree. It is getting cut this winter. my best apple and pear trees of same size produces 2 bushels at best. My 28 inch by 12 inch diameter Meiwa kumquat tree has produced about 30 1 inch kumquats this year and my Cuban Shaddock put out 31 fruits. My figs coming up from near ground produced more fruit than any other tree on my 0.125 acre farm.

I have the space for 5 in citrus trees of 8 feet tall with a diameter of 6 feet in my south-side yard that goes under glass each fall. I hope my trees may produce half of what your ML tree does.
