The perimeter cabinets are maple with a weathered slate finish. The weathered slate is a semi opaque stain with a hand brushed finish ontop. The island is maple with a toffee stain with a black glaze.

love the floor !..can you tell me what type of wood is this and finish?

It looks like walnut or at least a walnut stain. Here is a pick of a floor we made of walnut for a client.

The floor is an Engineered Hardwood (floating) by Dansk. It's Bronze Maple from their Aztec Collection. The 45 degree install was more difficult and did increase waste but it quietly compliments our home for those with an eye for detail.
