Is it ok to use this tile for a dining room floor?

Hi Shaena,

Thanks for your question! This tile should be fine for a dining room floor. It is rated P.E.I. II (suitable for all interior walls and light foot traffic such as powder rooms) so please keep in mind that if you don't have felt on the bottom of your chairs or you move your dining room table around a lot you may see some surface scratches.

What size grout lines and what thickness adhesive/mastic should we use?

Hi Shaena,

We would recommend using a 1/4" grout width and either a 1/4" U-Notch or Square-Notch trowel for laying the thinset.
