Building our first custom home & adding some touches of what I call 'industrial chic' with lighting & furniture. Wondering if we should incorporate that feel into the stair railing??? Stairs run from main floor to 2nd level, with a floating bridge that crosses over the entry hall into kids loft & bd rooms. Stairs also from main to basement. Please note: The photo of the stairs is not accurate, we are removing the beam & using a post to support stairs from 2nd level to main. Beam will be incorporated into the railing. I've added some pics of a railing I am liking a lot but feel free to make any suggestions or recommendations.
