Door hardware

Hi,
What door hardware is on the exterior doors? I am building a coastal home and the builder suggest the door hinges on the outwing doors should be stainless steel even though I like the look of the dark oil rubbed bronze.

Your builder is right about stainless hardware in a coastal application. Either buy a product that will stand up to the salt air or be ready to replace them over and over. I know, I've lived at the beach. Check out this link.

Thank you! Is it ok to have stainless steel hinges and oil rubbed bronze door knob. The doors will be out swing doors?
