Alaksan white granite red spots are developing

Hi, Any suggestions or throw some light on this issue will be helpful.

I have the Alaskan white granite in my kitchen and I am noticing dark red spots developing through the granite. I use Dupont stonetech professional-ready to use revitalizer cleaner and Protection for natural stone and countertops. Any reason for this to happen.

Look forward to receiving any light on this issue and hopefully some ways to solve this.

Can you share a picture of the granite? Also, are the red spots all over or just in specific spots?

Thanks for offering to look into it.

I soon realized it is mica & for some reason is picking-up/reflecting a dark red tone. However, I did notice couple areas that the granite is getting a sort of worn/dull spots like something strached it. I use only the cleaner mentioned above and wipe it with a microfiber soft cloths At this time just a couple spots....if I see a trend I will post it to get your advice...or if you like I can post a photo of one of the spots.

It takes quite a bit to dull out
a granite. Due to the hardness it is usually from high traffic areas or
HOT pots being placed on the countertop. Unfortunately cleaners will
not remove this and the sealers will not prevent this from happening. The best
advice would be to wait and as a few more develop then you can at that time
hire a fabricator to come in and polish the granite. It will take a
diamond pad to polish with to bring the shine back. Hope this helps.
