I've used it in a couple Kitchen backsplash's that were glass. I've also used it on wall tiles in powder rooms and bathrooms. VERY specific applications, not for everyone or every application that's for sure. I like Bostik's StarGlass grout, it's Translucent & reflective which on a glass tile doesn't give the appearance of a "harsh" grout line, it actually give the glass tile a little life, allows the light to bounce off the edge of the glass eliminating the shadow line around the edge that usually occurs with traditional epoxy or cementitious grouts. It's awesome with metallic metal tile as well. I'll attached a couple pics of my last two projects I used it on. Sorry for the picture quality in advance.

MAYBE: possibly a small area in a powder room if it added to the wallpaper etc.

I agree, in a small, dramatic powder room, it would be very pretty. I'd also consider it in an all white kitchen, for the backsplash.

Nope. Never. To me glitter is only acceptable on a birthday card, on the stage, or on Halloween night.

Definitely a unique option if you are looking to make a statement. I think is very specific circumstances it could elevate the space. Like Clint mentioned, bathroom backsplashes could work.
