I think your best bet is to take a swatch of the PPG color into a paint store that sells BM and have them match the color. And before you do any painting, have your painter do brush-outs for you so you can see the actual color, which sometimes differs from what's on the paper swatch. Don't attempt to match colors online; everyone's monitor is calibrated differently.

Well, the main issue is that I'm pretty sure Paint and Paper Library isn't Pittsburgh Paints (PPG), and I'm in the US, so don't have access to PPL swatches. I understand how to do a paint match and evaluate the color in my own space/light. I was looking for someone who might be familiar with PPL squid ink and might have a suggestion for a BM color that would be a decent starting point, since a match is most likely not possible. There are people out there who have found similar colors to popular Farrow and Ball swatches. I was hoping someone might have tried the same for PPL squid ink.

I'll keep looking for a BM match, but Sherwin Williams would be Dard Hunter Green.

Okay for BM I'm between Crisp Romaine or Calico Blue. Maybe Tarrytown Green.

I was using some photos of Squid Ink for inspiration, but I never obtained a Squid Ink "match," per se. But I DID achieve the look of Squid Ink from my inspiration photos, in my opinion. Check out Benjamin Moore 2136-30 Amazon Green, and 2136-20 Regent Green. I've used both now.
