See if you can hang some nice white towels on that towel rack and then a long tall metal leafy wall hanging on each side in a oil rubbed bronze to bring out the browns. then perhaps some little pots of succulents on the back of the toilet and sink counter. A white, thick bath rug would help too. Repeat the whites in the room. The other alternative is paint the walls, but that might be more than you want to do at this stage.

Here is an idea. Do a valance in a complimentary print and a shower curtain in the same print. Along these lines.

Two patterns but complimentary. It would take some doing and maybe a wall color change. But maybe that would cost so much that it might be just as well to ditch the shade and go another route. Sometimes the fix is worse than the problem. Very thorny problem. I like this gold print though, because it would blend and assuming you can lower that bottom part it could work?

Your wall paint appears too golden for the cooler red tone within the flooring. I would ditch the pattern at the window, consult Home Depot or Loews for a custom plantation shutter in white with the widest blade you can fit. The nice thing about a shutter, is the finished quality all alone, and the fact that a partial tilt of blade will allow both light and privacy. Then select a different paint color.......lower that towel bar or eliminate it.....add some art. : ) Perhaps choose your shower curtain first, if you require that, and THEN paint. PS, the shutter would provide a pop of "trim" in there.....a good thing as you have no window casing and it's a bit plain.

I respect the fact that you don't want to ditch the money you already spent and I do think you can work with this...

I think one of the problems is the actual size of the long window, so you need to take away the towel holder, which when there is a towel there will make this look even longer. Perhaps a very thin piece 9"max of art or metal on each side of the window (similar to shutters on exterior windows) will solve the proportions. Move the towel bar to over the toilet or another wall.

Finally, a solid or geometric shower curtain will balance the room. Use a curved rod. Nice rug on the floor and you've come a long way.

Try to stay within the base color range.. it's a small room and will be pretty if there is not too much going on.
