Help! We have a new house that has a courtyard we want to remodel but despite many ideas I don't know where to start. I would like to begin with some shade solutions and mood lighting. I don't want the shade solution to be seen from the front of the house as it would spoil the look. Currently the courtyard is accessed through my son's room but that room will be converted to a craft room towards the end of the year. The main bathroom also looks out onto the courtyard. There is no overhang from the house. The house has a Mediterranean feel. Would appreciate any help I could get.
