Mostly we just drain all the fuel out of it, which includes running the engine until it dies so that all the fuel in the lines or engine gets used up too. Maybe some years Tim might coat the tines with a light oil to prevent rust, and if he has plenty of time on his hands, he might check it for stability and tighten any loose screws or nuts/bolts or whatever he finds. He usually either puts a new air filter on it in the fall/late winter so it is ready for Spring, or sometimes he waits until Spring to do that. We don't do anything too fancy, but then, we've mostly gone to no-till practices, so we don't use the Mantis nearly as much as we used to.
