You can't go wrong with an adobe like color. If you're feeling adventurous think about pink. Google images of "Arizona Inn" Tucson for a classic example of pink with tile. As noted above, creamy white also works well.

I agree though - gray seems a bit too cold for that style of house.

I agree with all the houzzers above! Your home is very style specific, yes you can paint it any color you want but it won't be easy on the eyes.

Best to start reaching similar homes with red roofs right here on house. Start an idea book, so you can start saving pictures of colors you like; even if some are grey.

Then you can have Sherwin Williams come out to your home and do a paint color consolation. The cost around here is $90.00 but you get a $50.00 gift card to use towards your purchase. So for 40 bucks you can't really beat having a designer come out to your home and help with selecting the perfect color for you. I say perfect color for you, because you should have a color or some sort of colors in mind. Then, the designer can lead you in the right direction.
