Living room set up

Our 5 year old leather couches are very uncomfortable and we want new NON leather couches. It's a large room and need advice on set up. would like to add a recliner and also either sectional or large sofa and love seat? Or 2 reclining chairs and large sofa? We have little kids and are a family of 5 who entertains a lot

I would ask myself a few questions before making a decision on this. How big is the room? Can a sectional fit and still have about three feet in front for an easy walk by? Is the room used for TV viewing or video game play? How could furniture be placed to make those activities comfortable? What are the measurements for all the wall lengths? Sofa or sectional, go with one or three cushions across as two cushions usually results in only two people sitting there. Good luck!

Also what brand makes very comfortable couches? To buy locally in Chicago suburbs and for a reasonable budget?
