mother aloe vera

Hello!

I am wondering if someone can give me some advice? I have a beautiful aloe Ive been tending to for 6 years or so. She has produced a ton of pups over the years. Since I moved in the spring the aloe took a bit of a hit. It's bounced back now but I let the pups takeover. They are much healthier then the parent plant.

Is it time to remove the mother? The thought of doing that kills me. Could I remove the two larger plants at this stage and hope they would survive? The mother is the one that is cascading outside the pot.
