Yes that was just for Christmas :). It'll come down with all the rest of the Christmas stuff. We literally just finished on dec24

you don't need a new chandelier, the one you have it's really classy

Love it !! I don't know what u had in mind for the island lighting but I see something with some crystal to add a little bling and you will perfectly compliment this kitchen.. two crystal pendants is all you need.

I'm not a fan of white, traditional kitchens, but this is lovely.

The disturbing up and down heights of the original cabinets are not as noticeable using white cabinets.

The height of the hood cabinet is a few inches too tall. It looks like it can pivot on the line of the cabinets along side. If it was shorter it would look more stable. In addition, the clearance to the ceiling would be airier allowing the ceiling molding more breathing room.

Love the Ide of crystal fixtures....suggestions? Also the hood was a challenge for us. It was built perhaps too tall but lowering it would have encroached in the cooking area and but obstruction to some of our taller members of the family. I do appreciate the comments and advice :)
    Thank you!!!!

You are right. It is built too tall and lowering is no good. Your eyes are good enough to have made such a nice kitchen. [Shhh. I won't tell anyone else about the hood;)]
