Sunset magazine showed a home where they were used in the garden and it was fantastic. Made a small garden space look large and interesting. They were mounted to posts behind. Ivy or some bushy hedge plant covered the edges. Even with a little dirt at the lower edge from being outside, they made a huge impact. It made the cover if I remember right.

I also saw some being reused in a garage. Mirrors make a small space feel more open. They bounce light in in a dark space. We had a large mirror at the end of a long entry. It used to bring in the outdoor greenery opposite our glass entry door and made all the difference. Why not try them in a place where you need more light. They reflect any light source. Any place but the ceiling. I find that creepy.
