Something we've done before that could work well here is a small side table next to the lamp with a low shelf for hiding little essentials (extension cord, dog treats, etc). Or shift your couch to the right and create additional custom seating below the window!

Would it work for the couch to face the window? What is the couch looking at now?

I would soften and warm up the room with flowing drapes just on the sides that pool to the floor. Use a cream or light neutral. Matching or coordinating floor lamps would look nice as well. A mirror is a good choice on the wall to make the room appear larger and reflect the outdoors or nice framed art. Best wishes!

Some plug in swag pendants on either end would be nice. Maybe room for a wall mounted shelf on the side walls. I'd keep the sofa centered on the wall. Colorful art instead of the clear window piece would look good. More color with pillows and throw. And that should get you started.

I'd have hard wired wall sconces hung on ends of sofa, art above the sofa,

and no wreaths.

You can do a search online of "window pane ideas" or similar and you might get some ideas to dress up your window art. You could also put a shelf above the couch and lean the window on it and add some decor around it - similar to Katie Ciara's mantel.

I have a a little bit vintage style in my home and I love pretty flower / botanical art / vintage china as part of my decor. You could put a couple of vintage china plates on each side of the window pane. They can be very inexpensive at a vintage / antique store and add some authentic vintage to mix with more Hobby Lobby vintage.

Since the window is close to the wall and couch consider a roman shade, or a faux roman shade or faux tie up shade window treatment. The "faux" ones work as a valance to hide a simple blind without looking like a valance.
