Do you do free motion quilting on your table runners

My plan is to make another table runner and learn how to use this method to quilt it with my Paff sewing machine.

How do you quilt yours?

I seem to be in the mood to make table runners. I had not made any for a number of years.

I do have about 3 quilts lined up I need to do. I just have not been in the mood to quilt. I was laid up with 2 rotator cuff surgeries 9 months apart on the same shoulder. This month I have just finished up 2 years worth of PT. I am so far behind on just cleaning house and outdoor yard work will be waiting for me this Spring that I can't think of big sewing projects right now.

Loralee, a table runner is a great size for practicing FMQ. It's easy to maneuver and easy to finish.

When I make runners I tend to be lazy about the quilting. I think since it's a small project I want to be done really fast. :)

I found it hard to make a pleasant looking stitch. Hopefully, I have time to try again today.
