Hi from SC Piedmont area. Looks like you also have had a rough summer. It could be too dry and tips are burning. Do you see any bugs? Send a sample of damage to nearest extension office in your county but not in plastic baggie! Sample will melt down to a soupy mess! wrap in brown paper and send in a manila mailer envelope send the picture too. If no bugs you could try mulching them.
