Newest leaf is open

the new leaf is beautiful..might have shown you these pics but here goes..my neighbor has in ground bananas..cuts back in the fall..protects over the winter..she gave me one..#1 my neighbor's..#2 mine with some cannas..the first year after overwintering..

Mine is doing very well now. Pushing just over 4 feet of p-stem

Do either of you expect your bananas to flower, or even mature fruit sometime?

I don't..mine won't have time to flower or produce fruit..will be cutting it down in the fall and then protecting it for the winter..I'm just thrilled that it's survived 2 winters so far..

Not likely this year. I mixed up some corms last spring. Thinking it was one of the edible types. The manzano is getting somewhat close and a dwarf cavendish maybe by sept/oct.
