I agree with HandyMac: there is no "fix." And I would also caution that you should be gentle with your other drawers as they have a high probability of failing based on the low quality of the materials and what I can see from how the drawers have been put together.

They aren't made of great stuff, but I've had decent luck with Gorilla glue and new, longer, sturdier staples . Then coat glides with paraffin wax, don't overload drawer with heavy stuff, and don't jerk hard when pulling them out. I've done this on school furniture with some success.

I would use some L brackets and very small screws as well as some wood glue. Not gorilla glue since it bubbles out when it dries.

Of course you will remove the screws and staples before you do anything else.

I agree with Sandplum,Go-reely glue and pneumatic staples will put it togeather. You need Gorilla for the gap filling ability,trim it off with razor and/or sharp chisel when dry. Don't even think about driving nails with a hammer,you will only bust it up worse than it is already. If you don't have access to air fasteners,clamp togeather,drill pilot holes and use screws. Once it's back togeather it can be reinforced by adding a false front fastened to sides and front. Damage usually occur's as result of over loading drawer and closing too hard. If drawers must carry a lot of weight you can help prevent ripping fronts off by putting bump stops on rear of drawers.

It's a small drawer and I only see hot pads in it now. I'm curious if it had much weight in it, or if it was used/abused much, or if anything happened other than the failure of economy materials....

Thank you all. I used L brackets from Lowes to put it back together. A little clumsy of a fix, but will do for now.
