Range fan rattles when off.

Hi All,
Hoping someone can help. I have microwave range over my oven. Our home is just over a year old. When all the windows are shut in the house, it make an annoying rattling sound. If I crack the kitchen window, it stops immediately. It's winter here, so I am left with freezing, or listening to annoying rattle. Anyone ever hear of this? Is there a fix?

Epoxy a penny onto the butterfly damper inside pipe near fan. That stop's fluttering damper.

If it's a backdraft damper of slats that open/close somewhat independently of each other...well, I haven't come up with a solution I like. But I do take comfort to know the noise likely indicates positive internal pressure for furnace/boiler exhaust.

Vent damper rattle is cause by wind.
