I didn't have a need for a formal living room so I decided to design a room for our family that would be fun and beautiful at the same time so we purchased a pool table. I'd like some seating around it, but at the same time want it to look amazing as it's the room that you enter first as you walk into our house. (I'm going to try to attach some pics...this is the first time I'm posting so I hope I do it right!). Specifically, I'm having trouble figuring out furniture type and placement on the opposite side of the pool table, near the windows. Was thinking of putting in a sofa along the middle window, but then didn't know what to put on each side, another option was a chair/ottoman on one side and bar stools/pub table on the other...but then didn't know what to put in middle...I'm soooo confused! (BTW, none of the furniture currently against the window is staying...it was just put in to give me a feeling of what different combinations would look like.) I will be recovering the 2 chairs closest to the entrance and will be replacing the glass/iron table between them too. Finally, I will try to attach a pic of the fireplace surround I'd like to install too. Thanks so much in advance!!!
