How dark is this piece?

I have seen items in reclaimed iron and they are often quite dark in color. This seems lighter. Is it more of a silver hue than a black hue? Please advise.

    HI Phyllis,

    Many thanks for getting in touch. The colour is exactly as you see it in the photograph. It is grey with a hue of light rusty red in certain areas. It is made of reclaimed mild steel sheets. It does have a glossy finish as it has been wiped with some sort of oil to limit rusting as a result of exposure to the elements.
