Use what you have collected. Put three similar pictures either frame style and color or subject above the bed. Maybe purchase a throw or bed scarf with Asian or floral motif to match the pictures you choose. I would put tow groups of pictures in a four square pattern using the same frames of photos of your travels beside the bathroom doors. Make sure you hang the pictures near eye level and not too high. Add a large area rug with a color from one of your pictures. Add accents from your travels or something that will be similar in design. I would get tow new lamps with bigger and taller bases with either a colored shade or made of natural material to add texture to the room. If possible hang curtains.

Great suggestions! Why not move chair to left of bed and dresser to wall where cat is sitting? Centre tv on wall. Add bench to foot of the bed. If money is no object, could you replace current entertainment unit with a more solid wooden one. Pottery Barn and crate and Barrel always have nice bedding - you could just layer a few blankets/pillows onto your existing bedding.

A mirror over the newly relocated dresser would be great and curtains that complement your new bedding would really soften your space. Cheat a little when you hang the rod on the window that is next to where dresser currently sits. Pull curtains 24"-36" over on that side - it will look as though you have a much larger window.

and you don't have the expense of a frame.
4. Use your photos and crop them in close aspect, print them in sepia tones, and hang them all in black frames with white mats. Do a gallery frame wall between the two doors closet and bath (see younghouselove.com 's frame hall for inspiration) Put a mirror over the bureau chest.
5. Find the most comfortable slipcover armchair and ottoman in your price range and add it / move the slipper chair to the new frame wall.

The duvet folded at bottom of bed is perfect for naps once bed is made - easy to fold into thirds when you need to rise again. Curtains make naps possible at all hours, necessary soon. Armchairs allow you to fall asleep with babe comfortably - dozing is in your future if you can get comfortable.

Add warm orange, maybe some gold or bronze. Curtains, bedding, paint.
Maybe some teal accents? Print some of your pictures in sepia tones?

You don't say what colors you like....but if you go with color photos take cues from them. Hawaii I think of blues, Asia, I think of reds and oranges. You have many options. Are you looking for calm and serene or a little brighter? I see more browns and pops of green in the room. Now of course if you hate green these ideas are all bad. I used that color in my home. I stained some decorative molding a dark color and created a headboard that matched a throw pillow I found using soft felt ribbon and furniture tacks.

My only regret is that it limits my ability to move the bed to a different wall without having to undo it all.

Decided to go ahead and hang some framed photos. They are from our travels in Japan and Taiwan, and I used my software to make the tones a rich gold/brown for each.
