I pruned some of my fruit trees/bushes today. The problem here is that temperature are quite inconsistent, it snowed two days ago and now it's unseasonably mild. I am not sure about your zone but I would guess if you have a proper winter your plants should be fine as long as they were dormant when pruned.

pruning now in zone 7, no problem. However, I would try to make sure there are a few dry days in a row when pruning stone fruit.

wow it looks very good.I have couple trees peach cherry apricot quince .this year i got Persian sour plum ,pomegranate and fig . I was thinking the same thing about how to prune them. I did not get any fruits but they are 3 years old trees.semi dwarf type.Can I avoid pruning?
