Help with color

I just ordered new windows (some of you may remember me). I went with bronze to match the current color and what I felt was traditionally a Tudor style. While watching a show (Last Man Standing) I loved the exterior colors of the home depicted on the show. The difference? They used cream/off white where we have dark brown trim and a tan/beige where our white stucco is. I cannot find the house pics on line but below is the gist of it. Am I crazy? There aren't many published examples.

There are only two things I like about that Last Man Standing house: the color of the brick (but why, oh why, did they chop it off all weirdly on the side, toward the back, like that?!?!?!), and the cute little bracketed roof overhang thingy above the entry.

The color scheme actually makes me kinda dizzy looking at all of those white lines everywhere.

I like yours better. I also like Tudors.

But, take my opinion knowing that I'm weird. ;-) I totally expect follow up posters to hold opposite opinions from mine, lol.

I absolutely prefer your photo of the house with the dark windows.

I do like the Baxters' house, and that subtle white on cream (like marshmallow whip on French vanilla ice cream, yum). It is hard to find pictures, I found only one, on Pinterest, and not a good one at that.

One thing I think might work on your house is a faux cross-beam to break up the strong vertical posts on the gable.

This is a screen shot of the actual inspiration house (Baxter house on LMS).

The other was posted as a color scheme. Thanks for your responses.

we do have more timber posts than the inspiration.
