Before you worry on which paint, I would RIP the raised hearth, ( all of it) left and right of firebox at least and get that done BEFORE any flooring, ( along with the built ins I am guessing you refer to as the "add ons"? Someone added that raised hearth, and the proportion, especially under windows...... is not good. I'd investigate a window change there, before wall paint too.....: )

My guess is someone fiddled with the entire elevation in a poorly though out reno. Just guessing : )

I'd suggest Shoji White. Snowbound seems to stark to me, especially with the flooring you want.

I agree with Jan about the hearth. It will look even more out of place after the fireplace is painted and the new flooring installed.

You have different areas; different light affecting those areas; some stained wood; painted trim; walls; ceiling beams (are they real beams?) and ceiling. There is not one paint, nor one finish which will work for the entire home.

Each space needs to be considered before you paint . Please do not “texture walls”.

I have to ask - is the water damage to the floor extensive? Have you checked on having just the damaged part replaced and then having the floors refinished? If it's the color, there are endless possibilities in stains & finishes. Just wondering....

What would be suggested with the hearth?

Note: the fireplace style above is absolutely not our style-- if I suggested to my husband that we remove the wall to wall and replaced it with this, he would die.
