Fire Pit

Just a quick question.....what is the btu fire ring to this pit. I typically use 150 btu for my smaller pits but curious what you use.... By the way, your work is really impressive.

Thank you for the kind words regarding our work and I am happy to answer your question.

This firepit used an insert kit with a circular 36" diameter burner rail. When using natural gas, this system calls for 400k btu with a min 6.0" W.C. to max 7.0" W.C.

Additional info that may be a helpful reference:

The actual inside dimension of the stonework is often around a foot wider in diameter than the burner rail.

A 30" burner rail calls for 250k btu

A 24" burner rail calls for 200k btu

A 18" burner rail calls for 125k btu

    I hope this helps
