You can probably replace your switch with a rocker switch and it would pass. It probably would not pass by a standard toggle switch.

For you barn door pros, we have installed barn doors in the past and had customers then be upset that the door did not fit close enough to the trim moldings leaving cracks that one could see through. What is the standard solution for that. We thought we did a pretty good job of communicating up front what to expect so we were surprised at the issue arising. Thanks.

Deborah, This is tricky. This is where those wanting this type of door need to be careful and do a little homework. They do not close and seal like regular doors. They do have to standoffs they stick out a little ways. We recommend using a hardwood header to mount the hardware to insuring a safe installation. If it is new construction however this can be done inside the wall before the sheet rock is put up. Either way there is a small standoff that allows the door to slide back and forth. So really there are a few options for making the gap smaller but these type of doors don't fit as snugly as a regular door. I hope this helped!!
