what makes it easy to clean? I've had brick floors before and they were extremely rough and impossible to mop.

    What size are the bricks?
where can I purchase these bricks? Is there a name or color of the brick?
Google "Brick Floor Tiles". They are pavers about 3/4" thick. The previous owners of our house had them installed and we have a couple dozen spare in the attic. Hides dirt so well and perfect for two boys who are hard on the floor.

you will have to go through a flooring company to get these, but this company is the factory distributor.

is it a concrete or a clay paver?

It is a clay paver. They are porous, so I sealed it with Miracle Sealant 511 Porous Plus. It keeps them clean and they are easy to maintain. It is actually a fairly dull finish like the picture above. Just a sunny day shining on the floor.

Iwarren74, do you know where I could purchase the kitchen island lights?

Suzanne - I have no idea. I'd try the owner of the picture, http://www.DarciGoodmanDesign.com listed in the "More Info" link

Hi! I can't tell you where the previous owner purchased these island fixtures! I am sorry.

    Thank you for your interest.
