Closet Dilemma

I've been grappling with the closet for my master for months. There's a built in and an original closet on the right. I need more closet space/organization and would like to expand. Any thoughts? Behind the closets are the hallway stairs, btw.

Can you provide dimensions of existing closet. Maybe make a drawing of the wall with closets on each side of it. Are you willing and able to demolish that existing wall and redesign it all?
You may consider bringing in a local closet company to give you some input. Maybe that would be easier to have them design and install to maximize storage.

could u extend the outer closet to the right and make a small hallway to the other closet?

Well, I can extend to the right but I can't make a hallway to the small closet, if that's what you mean. I'm just wondering how it would all look if I keep the small closet too!

I really need to see the rest of the room too. Can you possibly draw an overhead view showing both closets and the dimensions.
Do you have room elsewhere for a chest of drawers or does it need/could it go to the right of the outer closet. Does the inner closet go all the way behind the outer closet?

I would be inclined to keep both closets as they are and install a good system to maximize storage. Then use the wall there for a chest off drawers with a mirror above.
