Fig leaves vary a lot. There isn't anything wrong with those leaves and no reason to remove the branch. You could remove it if you just don't like the look of the leaves but there is no need.

Nothing wrong with leaves. I think there are 8 different fig leaf types and one of my smaller celeste fig trees produces 5 different types.
